ONCE UPON A TIME

How the Shire
Came to Be

Fate — or perhaps a bit of well-placed magic — brought Zennah and Hayley side by side, their treatment rooms nestled next door to one another in a quiet corner of Ogden, Utah. In the soft hours between clients, they discovered that their dreams for their craft were woven from the same cloth.

Both massage therapists with gentle hands and hearts full of stories, each had built their own small sanctuary for rest and healing. They wanted to offer a place where the mind quiets, the body softens, and the spirit can wander freely — much like the turning of a page in a well-loved book.

So, with courage and excitement, they stitched their two stories into one. Canyon Shire Spa + Wellness was born — a place where every service is a small adventure, thoughtfully crafted to soothe and transport you, if only for a while.

Today the Shire is home to a full team of massage therapists, master estheticians, and the people who keep everything running with quiet grace. Every single one of them arrived because they believed in the same thing: that rest is not a luxury, and that feeling genuinely cared for changes everything.

Some of our massage and facial rituals carry hidden nods to cherished works of fantasy, a tribute to the realms that Zennah and Hayley love to escape to themselves. Zennah is the dreamer who refused to stop dreaming. A licensed massage therapist whose work has always been rooted in the belief that rest is not a reward — it's a right. She built her corner of the Shire on warmth, intention, and an unapologetic love of fantasy novels. When she's not in the treatment room, she's probably planning the next Edition, rereading something wonderful, or making the Shire a little more magical than it was yesterday.

Hayley Weaver

Hayley is the one who makes things happen. A licensed massage therapist and esthetician, her approach to care is thorough, intuitive, and deeply personal. She has always believed that the best service is one that leaves someone feeling not just better, but genuinely understood. She brought that belief to the Shire from day one — and it shows in every corner of how this place runs.
